CNH INDUSTRIAL MAKES A BIG NOISE AT FARM PROGRESS
The largest Ag-focused trade show of the year in North America is always a whirlwind of activity as farmers, dealers, suppliers, and just about anybody related to the agricultural industry gather somewhere in the U.S. to see and touch the latest equipment. This year, from August 30th to September 1st, the location was Boone, IA — in the dead center of Iowa, the United States, and Farm Country.
All of CNH Industrial’s Ag brands debuted some impressive products.
The unveiling of the Case IH Trident applicator with Raven Autonomy™ took center stage on day one and continued drawing crowds throughout the run of the show. Attendees flocked to see the first-of-its-kind system, which allows operators to plan and complete an entire field operation from a mobile device. Notably, it’s also the first finished product to come from a collaboration between Case IH and Raven, who shared both research and resources.
New Holland also had their own impressive product introductions, unveiling no less than five new pieces of machinery.
“The launch of our new Guardian™ sprayers with PLM Intelligence™ gave us the chance to invite VIP customers and dealers to participate in private ride-and-drives on those new machines, so they could spend time getting to know our brand on a deeper level," said Mark Lowery, Director of Commercial Marketing for New Holland North America.
And our newest CNH Industrial family member, Raven, whose focus has always been on cutting-edge technology, not only elevated our other brands, but also drew crowds to investigate its own impressive products.
Booth after CNH Industrial booth spotlighted a huge selection of products created in response to our customers’ needs. Our Customer First mindset took center stage and, judging by the response, the customers noticed.

Our CEO, Scott Wine not only met with the financial analysts that cover our company at the show, but also paid visits to each CNH Industrial brand to check out the machines that were on display and discuss culture and the brands’ upcoming plans.
Day 2 of the show culminated with a well-attended concert, sponsored by our Case IH brand, where Country Music superstar Lee Brice performed his hit song “Farmer” and other fan favorites.

The Case IH Trident 5550 applicator is “a significant milestone in our accelerated product development efforts between Case IH and Raven,” said Scott Harris, Case IH global brand president. The introduction of the breakthrough technology kept representatives from both Case IH and Raven busy speaking to press throughout the day, like Gary Esselink, Precision Agriculture Specialist at Raven (pictured left).
New Holland’s impressive new Guardian front boom sprayer with Raven precision technology was a big hit, drawing interested customers for the run of the show.

Brady Fahlman, owner of Fahlman Acres in Holdfast, Saskatchewan, Canada, and one of the first testers of the Case IH Trident applicator with Raven Autonomy™ spoke to an attentive crowd about how the breakthrough technology has helped him and his business. “It’s a huge benefit,” he stated. “Autonomous equipment can perform a consistent job each time, which is very important to me, as we’ve built our farm’s reputation on being flawless and doing high-quality work.”
Case IH hosted daily Advanced Farming System (AFS) meetings where Precision Field specialist, Ben Carlisle, met with customers. In one group, three generations of farmers from a single family crowded into the room to learn more about how they can use our technology on their farm. It was a great example of how CNH Industrial were reaching customers at the show and to see all these members of the farm working together.
